JANAE JEAN is a multimedia artist and multi-instrumentalist.  She is an accomplished composer and singer-songwriter with over 1,000 original pieces in her library.  She fell in love with playing instruments and singing her own songs as a toddler, and began studying piano at the age of six.  Her large catalog includes a piano suite, Winterscapes; a large-scale multimedia work Points of Reference, which features self-created interactive video, algorithmic composition, electronics, and processed voice; and hundreds of songs and small instrumental works.

SERPENTINE is a musical version of a snake shredding its skin, where songs originally written for electronic instruments are set in a piano-centric context.

Besides music, Janae enjoys painting, drawing, photography, poetry, yoga, and paddle-boarding.   She is an avid reader and continues to study music, art, and healing practices from around the world.
